This policy explains what TipidPing collects and how the app uses that information. This is an MVP policy and should be reviewed before public launch.
Information We Collect
We collect account details such as name, email address, and a password hash. We also store product URLs, target prices, selected crawl frequency, crawl results, detected prices, sale status, and notification history.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide accounts, crawl product pages selected by users, detect sale signals, send notifications, keep the service reliable, and protect the app from abuse.
Cookies And Sessions
TipidPing uses an HTTP-only session cookie to keep users signed in. The cookie is used for authentication and is not used for advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with infrastructure, email, notification, hosting, analytics, or security providers only as needed to operate the service.
User Choices
Users can delete tracked products from the dashboard. Before launch, add a contact email and a process for account deletion, data access, and privacy requests.
Security
We use password hashing, HTTP-only cookies, URL safety checks, and server-side authorization checks. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect user data.
